Think Local, Shop Local 2023

Spend $30 dollars or more at any participating retailer, scan the code on the entry form - upload a photo of your receipt and complete your details and you’re in with a chance to WIN!

Each week for 10 weeks one shopper will win a car key in the lucky draw. At the final car key draw all 10 weekly finalists will have their chance to see if their key opens the car.

Congratulations to our lucky winner Cindy Pearce who was our week 5 car key winner who is now the lucky owner of the Shop Local major prize – the Volkswagen Polo valued at some $26,000.

The Shop Local campaign is one of, if not the premier retail and business promotion in NSW – thanks again to our sponsors for their contribution and support.

The campaign was driven by our media partners on radio and social media – 88.9, 2TM and 92.9 with the weekly support from StreamU ensuring the lucky draw was filmed live and on show on the Chambers Facebook for all to see and offering much appreciated interview support and additional media benefits.

NBN and Win Television presented a great looking 30 second advertisement with the Northern Daily Leader supporting with timely editorial coverage. The campaign ran consistently all the way up to include the final car key draw at Centrepoint on Saturday morning.

The promotional material was highly visible with eye catching creative. Allsopp Signs produced quality printing of the required banners, entry forms and associated display items, with Rhythm Digital creating an informative and user friendly web site.

This year the promotion was fortunate to welcome new supplementary sponsors in Lowes Petroleum who donated $3,000 in petrol over the 10 weekly draws, one lucky winner received $1,000 worth of vouchers from Shopping World and Chris Watson Travel offered a complimentary Vivid Sydney Holiday package for two people valued at $1,900.

The campaign could not proceed without the combined support of all our sponsors and on behalf of the Chamber Board I would like to thank our main sponsors Tamworth Regional Council, Woodleys Motors and Centrepoint Tamworth for their significant contribution via sponsorship that ensures the Shop Local promotion can be delivered.

I am also very happy to confirm that the campaign exceeded our million-dollar target with $1,065,394.00 generated via Shop Local receipts – quite an accomplishment.
